Cost Control Senior Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare preliminary cost estimates with detailed breakdowns for new projects.
Develop and update project budgets for ongoing projects to accurately forecast cost at completion.
Track, monitor, and report actual project costs on a monthly basis, and prepare cost performance reports to evaluate project packages and identify any cost overruns along with their root causes.
Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), quantity take-offs, and cost estimations.
Handle quantity estimation activities for both pre-contract and post-contract phases.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Architecture preferred).
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in construction, engineering, or contracting, preferably within reputable real estate developers (e.g., Sodic, Palm Hills, Marakez, Waterway, Emaar).
Strong proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.
Solid knowledge of cost control and cost estimation techniques.
Hands-on experience with cost control, Earned Value Management (EVM), budgeting, estimation, change management, planning, forecasting, and performance reporting.
Ability to analyze project funding requirements and track progress effectively.
