Job Summary

Responsible for leading quantity surveying activities related to design deliverables across real estate development projects, including managing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), preparing quantity take-offs and pricing assessments, and supporting budgeting and planning activities. The role coordinates with design, technical, and development teams to ensure accurate and timely quantity reviews, enhance pricing efficiency, reduce consultancy costs through in-house quantity surveying practices, and support decision-making during planning and budgeting stages.

Key Responsibilities

-Lead quantity surveying activities related to design deliverables across real estate development projects.

-Review, validate, and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements.

-Prepare quantity take-offs and pricing assessments to support project budgeting and planning activities.

-Coordinate with design, technical, and development teams to ensure timely issuance and review of quantities.

-Improve the efficiency and speed of the pricing process through effective quantity surveying practices.

-Reduce additional consultancy costs by performing quantity surveying activities internally whenever applicable.

-Assess design changes and evaluate their impact on quantities and budget estimates.

-Ensure consistency and standardization of BOQs and quantity surveying methodologies across projects.

-Provide technical quantity surveying recommendations and insights to support planning and budgeting decisions.

-Support cost control and value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs without compromising quality.

-Maintain quantity surveying records, cost databases, and benchmarking references for future projects.
