• Prepare and review comprehensive cost plans and cost reports throughout the project lifecycle.

• Establish and review the basis of cost assumptions across all project divisions, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

• Lead market surveys and supplier/subcontractor engagement to obtain and benchmark current market rates and offers.

• Review and validate detailed cost breakdowns, ensuring alignment with the approved scope and cost parameters.

• Review BOQs, pricing, and quantities based on approved and validated item breakdowns.

• Analyze supplier and subcontractor offers and provide cost comparisons and recommendations to support procurement and tendering decisions.

• Ensure cost estimates are based on up-to-date market rates, project requirements, and approved design information.

• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure scope, quantities, specifications, and pricing are properly aligned.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 6 to 8 years

• Education Level: Architect or Civil Engineering Bachelor's Degree

• Background: Contractor Tendering.

Technical Job Requirements

• Sound experience of ACAD and Rivet for Quantity surveying purposes.

• Good knowledge and practical experience of cost estimating and planning.

• Good knowledge of construction methods and materials.

• Working knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.

• Sound ICT skills, with a good level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Clear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts.
